Homebrew developer homemister has dropped by to tell us that he's made a new LUA-based application which acts as a File and System Browser for the PlayStation Portable with System Player 101. This versitile app packs a lot of useful options such as browsing through your memory stick's files, play .mp3 files, and it even includes a small mini-game to while away the time with.
While its main purpose is to manage your files, this version only allows you to browse through your memory stick. The developer mentions that the copy and paste option will be included in a future update.
On the plus side, System Player 101 includes a lot of nifty extras borrowed from Lua Player. Here's a short list of what each feature does:
3d cube - a demo 3d cube from LUA Player
Wifi connector - a demo Wifi connector from LUA Player
Irda tester - the test the functionality of your irda port just run it and press the button on a remote infrount of your psp.
Color Tester - will unfreeze stuck pixles and will test the colors on your psp
Maze Game - Made by Highsight, added for fun.
As for the application's system menu, please make sure to take care when tweaking your PSP's settings since it might accidentally affect the way your handheld runs. In any case, you can read the documentation that comes with the System Player 101 for more instructions on how to properly use it.
