Sony's recent release of firmware 4.05 may have left some of the owners in a bit of a pickle. On one hand, updating to it will enable to them to enjoy the new visualizer feature that's been added. On the other hand, it may take some time before the M33 Team can successfully create a custom firmware to match up to Sony's official build.
If you seriously can't wait for the dev team's update, then Red_Squirrel may have some good news for you with the release of the 4.05 to 4.01M33 Visualizer tool. As its name implies, this homebrew application will flash the visualizer effect from Sony's firmware 4.05 into custom firmware 4.01 M33.
Other details on installing this app to your PSP are available in the file bundle's readme. The developer advices the readers to be careful with using application, and that it may be a good idea to have a copy of Despertar del Cementerio handy before attempting to use this tool.
