Over at the QJ Forums, kozine has released a homebrew flashing app for the PSP called Aqua-set v1.00A. It's a flashmod for 1.50 firmware PSPs. Currently in Alpha version, it's best to treat the app as a "proof of concept". Nothing much going on in the app right now, but you can do the following:
Kozine hopes to add a theme and custom firmware installer to the app. Don't forget to drop kozine a note if you have suggestions for the Alpha 2 or beta release.

Just a few days back, homebrew developer Akez released a new version for his PSP Wave Changer and new the dev's back with an upgrade. The wave flasher gets a minor addition, it now shows if the battery level is below 5%.
The dev added his own themes to the bundle though if they are not to your liking, feel free to delete them

X-flash is a firmware modification tool that flashes your PSP to accomplish a variety of changes to the PSP's system firmware, and so should only be used by those that know what they are doing
