Homebrew developer poisonhzkj has released an update for the Custom XMB (CXMB) plugin. In case some of you missed our earlier post on this piece of homebrew, CXMB lets PSP users use custom RCOs from the PSP's memory stick instead of its flash0.
CXMB is made for custom firmware 3.40 OE. The download doesn't include a readme file, so here are the installation instructions from poisonhzkj's site: To use CXMB, you must activate it as the first plugin in vsh.txt. You can also choose to flash it to flash0:/kn and add /kd/cxmb.prx after /kd/vshctrl.prx in flash0:/kn/pspbtcnf.txt.
Flashing it will also eradicate chances of getting a blue screen of death if you accidentally shut down your PSP in game mode and start it up without having the memory stick inserted. If you choose not to flash it and run into this problem, you can shut down your PSP, insert your memory stick and reboot. You can also just press the Circle button to fix your registry.
The download below also contains the Calabi Spheres XMB icon theme. For usage instructions, we recommend going to poisonhzkj's site at http://www.2alien.info/2007/06/cxmb.html. As you might have picked up from the post a few days back, Art came up with version 16 of his X-Flash program. One of the notable things to come with the latest version is support for 1.50 and 2.71 SE-B firmwares. Version 16B adds some cosmetic functions for those folks who wanted to get debranded stuff, but retains all of the PSP goodness X-Flash has to offer

QJ.NET forum member mhorpheox has informed us via the PSP Development Forum that homebrew coder Dr4iNLiF3 has released a new build of the program PSP Auto Transfer, bumping it up to version 2.
Basically this is an application that allows users to transfer different file types on the PSP without having to use Navigate folders

Homebrew developer Hellcat announced that he has created Pandora Installer for 3.xx kernels. Basically, this application is for a base Pandora setup and runs under any kernel from 1.50 to 3.71. It gives users the ability to:

* Install a full 1
