PSPWe defintely love to have flashers and admit it, you'd love to have them too. They makes you giddy and happy deep inside. Imagine now a French flasher, isn't that exciting? Err, that somehow came out wrong. We suppose we better start talking concrete terms from herein lest we want to get ourselves in trouble. Shall we begin once more?
We definitely love to have flash programs and admit it, you' love to have them too (that's better). Such homebrew applications give our PSPs a more personal feel, with its different aspects modded and edited to suit our preference. Probably the latest to come out is the 16th version of X-Flash with limited support for 2.71 SE-B. Today we came across a new one, Dr. French v0.3, created by French developer Dr. Download.
While the program has been tested several times according to Dr. Download, he claims that there is still a danger of bricking your handheld. So please, proceed with outmost care. The application actually allows 2 mods with 2.71 SE, by simply copying prx in flash/mod1 and flash/mod2 folders. Modules present with this release include Edison Carter's Cheat Device and Cpasjuste's Overclocking Module.
Though in French, Dr. Flash v0.3 is actually English friendly. You'll just have to be familiar with basic terms like Haut(up), Bas (down), Droite (right), Gauche (left), Carre (square) and Rond (circle). Also, Dr Download added these few reminders for anyone who is interested to try the application:
* Change your gameboot (copy your gameboot.pmf in flash/ folder)
* Remove SCE Logo so you can have a better view of your gameboots

from tinman:
I used this method for a DC based 5.00 M33-3 because, it does not change DC 7, everything works, and uses the same files. (I only renamed one) I only added the 2nd menu which simply runs Alex's 5.00 M33-3 installer just like you would from the XMB. You will need the 5.00 SCE updater in the ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ folder
