Homebrew dev JJS has released a new version of Half Byte Loader, the infamous open source homebrew loader for the PSP.
What's new in the latest update?
Run your homebrews on 6.37 (or any other 6.XX firmware) without the need to sign them
Run homebrews that cannot be signed (such as ScummVM), on firmware 6.37 or below
Put your homebrews in any folder you want, to avoid turning your "Game" XMB into a huge mess

PSP Homebrew Developer Ichigokurosaki of the Nobis Development Group - the group that brought us Flashmod - has dropped by our forums to inform us of their latest project, Flashmod X Alpha Backbone.

Over at the Italian homebrew front, coder Z33 released an application called Resurssiklunssi. Yeah, we know the name sounds a bit weird but this program is quite useful. What this tool does is that it scans all *.rco files placed inside the rco-folder

Improving on the previous version, this package has more skins, an updated battery meter to show life left in minutes, and it now includes a battery voltage meter as well. JJS Has been hard at work to improve our beloved HBL again.
