  P-Tester PSP Diagnostic Tool

People have been up in arms lately and there has been a lot of discussion about the demise of the PSP scene.A  Today we have another release from Developer Avanaboy who is doing his part to put those ideas of a dead scene to rest.A  Avanaboy has released P-Tester v2 which is a diagnostic tool for your PSP.A  P-Tester lets you do a lot of testing on things such as the buttons as well as fixing pixels and several other useful functions.A  Listed below is a message from Avanaboy on what P-Tester can do for your PSP.

"With P-TESTER you can :

*Test your PSP BUTTONS

*Test your PSP DISPLAY FOR STUCK PIXELS and FIX IT!!

*Test your PSP AUDIO SYSTEM

*Test your PSP BATTERY (since V1.5)

*Test your UMD Drive and your UMDs (since V2.0)

more features will be added soon ..

*Credits*

I'm releasing the source code too. I think that this might be useful
for those that want to learn psp programming basics, and for those that
just want to see how P-TESTER works."

Button Tester with LEET Graphics When Tactical Penguin said, "Best. Homebrew. Ever. If this doesn't make frontpage, I quit QJ," on the PSP Development Forums, we knew we had to do something. Youresam released a rather large file for people to try out for the simple purpose of checking to see if your PSP's buttons work
PAD TesterPAD Tester
PAD Tester A forum member who goes by the moniker "the unique warrior" also came up with his own pad and button tester. He says that he decided to make one in C++ since SuperbatXS's tester was in LUA. The result is PAD Tester, a non-LUA button tester that works with DA 2.71 SE-A. It works pretty much like the LUA Button Tester
Test My ControlsTest My Controls
Test My Controls Constant use is grounds for wear and tear, and that's no exception even for the multi-capable Sony PlayStation Portable. Homebrew developer Johnny McKinney released a homebrew application to diagnose the PSP's controls. Test My Controls version 1.5 - perhaps a C++ rehash of Control Tester v1
PSXReality Memory Stick TesterPSXReality Memory Stick Tester
PSXReality Memory Stick Tester PSP homebrew developer mavy has just informed us of the release of his new app PSXReality Memory Stick Tester (PSXR-MSTester). Based on MSTest from MIB42 (although, according to mavy, he could only find MIB42's .PBP), this app runs a standard batch of tests to test throughput and standard deviation from a memory stick
PressMe 0.0.2PressMe 0.0.2
PressMe 0.0.2 from stifpsp: PressMe is my first homebrew coded in C. I started programming in C on PSP a while ago. I created this homebrew to see what I already knew and make it a utility for noobs in particular. This utility can check that your keys are working properly. The homebrew has 12 buttons yet
MSTestMSTest
MSTest MIB.42 is still working on memory stick related projects. This time he has brought us his MSTest, Memory Stick benchmark utility for the PSP, version 1.0. Here is his message: I just got my new SanDisk 2GB MemoryStick Pro ( the light blue one ) and run the R/W tests. Read speed is same as the 512M one ( 14
PSP Keys TestPSP Keys Test
PSP Keys Test from DedDinO_94: Hello After one year, today released the new version of my PSP Keys Test, the v3.0. This homebrew has the simple task of testing the buttons, analog, audio speakers and the Bad-Pixel of your PSP. Changelog v3.0: - New layout, much more pleasant and intuitive (Graphics By BURG) - Homebrew converted to LUAPlayerHM 8
Control TesterControl Tester
Control Tester  Johnny McKinney may have been accused of doing some not very nice things on the homebrew front but you can't accuse him of not keeping his promises. Yesterday he promised to update his app called Control Tester v0.5 and today he released v1.0
PressMe 0.0.3PressMe 0.0.3
PressMe 0.0.3  from stifpsp: PressMe is my first homebrew coded in C. This verifies that the buttons on your PSP function properly if you are in doubt between the problem hardware or software on your PSP. Wink Example: The most experienced, you can 't leave your games HOME. When you turn on your PSP, it is in Recovery Mode alone, or you can not write in the OSK
