Psilocybeing from our forums has released an update to his popular Portable meditation engine for the PSP. Portable meditation is a homebrew application that plays sounds to influence your state of mind. The application is based on a program called Brain Wave Generator, that uses Binaural beats to influence your state of mind. Here's what Psolocybeing said about his latest release (Updated 01.05):
"Here's the latest update for PME. It contains quite a few corrections and additions regarding the loading and generation of beats. One limitation that is imposed however is that you can't throw in amazingly high frequencies(1000 seems to work, sometimes). I'm not sure why this is, but it shouldn't affect most presets(bar the sinus one, sorry!)."

Now that was fast. Hot on the heels from the release of the offical PSP firmware 6.39, homebrew coder some1 comes back on the scene to release his modified downgrader for the said firmware, allowing users to once again enjoy the benefits of firmware 6.20 and 6.35.

Here is the psardumper for 6.00 6.10 and 6.20. It supports 01g and 02g kernel decryption.
Luckily the keys where the same for all the eboots so i only had the crack the 6.20 keys. If anything is wrong or i uploaded the wrong files please tell. Tested and cracked on slim.

Aah, yes, new exploit, old game. It's so cool to actually see this beauty working - and on a PSP-3000 no less! The PSP scene was buzzing the other day when MaTiAz found an exploit (read: buffer overflow!) in the three year old game, GripShift.
MaTiAz says that they've yet to find any further use for this, but it's still a new exploit
