The Unique Warrior has once again updated Power PRX, bumping it up to version 3.0. This time, he's decided to give in to a few requests and added a new config file for button combinations as well as a new brightness mode.
In version 2.0, support was added for firmware 1.5 users. To install this PRX on a PSP running firmware 1.5, look for the config file (usually in ms0:/psp/system/) and edit a line to the following:
{
loadmodule1 = "ms0:/seplugins/rebooter.prx"
}
If you're running 2.71 SE, all you have to do is run Coldbird's Universal Module Flasher and install the module (NOTE: This only works in XMB and will be stopped during Gaming). Alternatively, you can simply copy the files in se_plugins in the MS_ROOT/SEPLUGINS to ms0:/seplugins then activate the PRX from recovery mode.
The Unique Warrior has added security to protect against memory stick corruption and bricking, but don't take unnecessary risks that could end up in brickage. Be sure to read the readme file throroughly before installing Power PRX.
