After KGSWS put online the first signed homebrew, developer bbtgp has released a new tool that allows users to sign/encrypt simple homebrews, without going through the HBL or HEN.
Developer's note:
"based off the first homebrew ever signed and various code snippets on this thread. Its signs a simple hello world just fine..tested on phat, slim and brite."

Homebrew developer brethren dropped by QJ.Net PSP Forum today and informed us about a proof-of-concept application allowing becus25's custom firmwares to be run using DevHook. The developer added that it would be possible as well to run the said firmwares from the memory stick provided that some part of the codes will be altered
