PSPPet has released a new version of his PSARDumper firmware decryption program. This is a legal tool that allows you to decrypt any firmware, in effect 'reverse engineering' the PSP. Version 0.2Ae adds support to decrypt 2.6 prx's. The dumped files are same as the files in the PSP NAND Flash except the "SIG check key" is not generated.
This program will extract the contents of the update data file, and saves them as separate files on memory stick. Please note: Althought this program is legal, the files that it can extract may be subject to Sony copyrights.
