It was only a couple of days ago when homebrew application PSP Filer v4.1 was released. We just learned today that coder Mediumgague has rolled out a new build yet again, bringing the program up to version 4.2. PSP Filer makes it easier for PSP owners to manage their files on the memory stick, UMD drive, as well as on the flash memory.
For those who have been using the older versions of PSP Filer, this might be a good time to update your program as several improvements and bug fixes have been implemented by Mediumgauge. Here's the changelog for this specific build:
* Filer:
o Added a feature to access CSO archive file (read-only).
o Fixed a bug that appeared in version 4.0 and 4.1, a wallpaper was not drawn correctly.
o Changed a HACKER MODE's trigger: digital left and R key.
o Enabled to sort archive file's folder to "not sorted".
* Picture Viewer:
o Increased drawing speed very much when a picture is rotated.
o Switching to next/previous picture, rotated status & magnification rate remain as before.
o Enabled to show rotate direction.
PSP Filer v4.2 comes with several documentation in different languages. It should provide you with all information and details about installation and usage. Be sure to browse through those first before doing anything to avoid any problems.
