PSP homebrew coder poisonhzkj has just announced the release of SCEP-XMB v1.7 preview 3 for the community's use.
In case you're a first timer reading up on this application, SCEP-XMB is a PSP plugin that allows users to take screenshots, use their unit as a usbhost, turn off/reset their PSP, manage files and directories, and adjust screen brightness and CPU speed.
QJ.Net Forum resident Nightcrawler observed that the biggest observable change in this release is a fully functional stopwatch, although poisonhzkj states that more functions are forthcoming in future versions. Given the bundle lacks a file readme, here are the controls:
* Screenshot controls:
o Dpad + L/R: get a area
o Dpad : move the area
* File Manager controls:
o Select(Triangle)
o Select All(Square)
o change device(R)
o change panel(LEFT/RIGHT)
o Excute(Circle)
o Operation menu(L)
* Stopwatch controls:
o Start/Pause (circle)
o mark down (R)
o reset(L)

PSP homebrew developer Coolj dropped by the QJ.NET forums earlier to announce the release of a plugin that'll interest those whose handhelds are running on Team M33's Custom Firmware 3.71. It will enable your PSP to take screenshots of your apps and games - simply press the R trigger and the square button, and you're good to go
