We haven't heard the last from Art and X-flash, apparently. Getting right down to busy at the start of the new year, he releases his X-Flash v18g (Multi Firmware Support). Now, what are the changes in this version that would merit such a speedy update (just a mere two days, in fact)? There's just a couple, actually.
First off, there's been a change to startup checking routine to allow a mismatching topmenu_plugin.rco file for 2.71 SE. Apart from that, there's also that fix for program termination if trying to use a mismatching topmenu_plugin.rco file with 1.50 firmware. So, as most of you are already aware as to what this program is capable of doing, we'll still be keen on reminding you to just make sure you follow the instructions for installation to the letter so we won't have any problems.
As for the newly-introduced members of the homebrew community, there's absolutely no need to worry, because the download file itself has a really comprehensive notes and guides as to the X-Flash application. Add to that the history of it in the threads, that ought to be more than just sufficient for you to get cozy with it. If any of you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. We're all willing to lend a helping hand.
