  X-Flash

We haven't heard the last from Art and X-flash, apparently. Getting right down to busy at the start of the new year, he releases his X-Flash v18g (Multi Firmware Support). Now, what are the changes in this version that would merit such a speedy update (just a mere two days, in fact)? There's just a couple, actually.

First off, there's been a change to startup checking routine to allow a mismatching topmenu_plugin.rco file for 2.71 SE. Apart from that, there's also that fix for program termination if trying to use a mismatching topmenu_plugin.rco file with 1.50 firmware. So, as most of you are already aware as to what this program is capable of doing, we'll still be keen on reminding you to just make sure you follow the instructions for installation to the letter so we won't have any problems.

As for the newly-introduced members of the homebrew community, there's absolutely no need to worry, because the download file itself has a really comprehensive notes and guides as to the X-Flash application. Add to that the history of it in the threads, that ought to be more than just sufficient for you to get cozy with it. If any of you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. We're all willing to lend a helping hand.

This has made it harder to impossible for theme developers to find these floats, so we've decided to develop a tool to take it apart, and put it back together

Fast Scroll Music from Torch: This increases the vertical scrolling speed of Music player by around 50%. You can scroll 300 songs in 10 seconds using this. This is the maximum possible speed that can be achieved without directly hacking vshmain.prx. It works in the Photos menu as well if you open the Music player first. Install it under SEPLUGINS in VSH

3.40 Fix to LOLstation - POPS Fix  It should be remembered that when DAX released 3.30 Open Edition Revision A, homebrew developer Pharonyk provided a fix to his LOLstation - POPS Fix to make it compatible with the new custom firmware. As you all know, there's now 3.40 OE-A. So what do you think Pharonyk just did? Yep, the QJ

X-Flash As you might have picked up from the post a few days back, Art came up with version 16 of his X-Flash program. One of the notable things to come with the latest version is support for 1.50 and 2.71 SE-B firmwares. Version 16B adds some cosmetic functions for those folks who wanted to get debranded stuff, but retains all of the PSP goodness X-Flash has to offer

Lua FlasherLua Flasher
Lua Flasher  Homebrew coder splodger15 dropped by QJ Forums today and released another application called Lua Flasher. A few of this developer's most notable creations are probably PSP Turismo and Patch SFO v.01. Anyway, this next project is entirely different , and much more useful if we may add, from those two
