  PSPDiag .2

Shortly after KIWIDOGGIE released a video demo of PSPDiag Tool .1 yesterday, the coder stated that a battery detection bug was found, and had to be fixed. Following that report, we're letting everybody know that KIWIDOGGIE has just released PSPDiag version 2 (.2), all prepped up for download.

Now, in case you're wondering what this app does, it's a PSP-based diagnostics tool (hence its name) that allows users to get a readout of their PSP's various functions, such as their CPU and Bus speed. Aside from the aforementioned battery detection bug fix, the author followed up with these new tweaks:

* Red color testing
* Green Color Testing
* Blue Color Testing
* ascii art in the credits

One future update in the works is a conversion of the app into .prx format. That's all to report for the moment, aside from a youtube video demonstrating PSPDiag Tool .2 in action. Enjoy the download, and make sure to visit KIWIDOGGIE's thread over at the QJ.Net Forums for extra details, and the demo video.

PSP Easy-C  Homebrew developer Re_AnimAte has been working really hard the past few weeks on applications PSP Game Maker and PSP Studio Max. Take note that, Game Maker is a working compiler and tester for Lua games made in C#. Studio Max, on the other hand, is a shell for ithat program. Anyway, the coder dropped by QJ.Net Forums today and released PSP Easy-C
Control TesterControl Tester
Control Tester  Johnny McKinney may have been accused of doing some not very nice things on the homebrew front but you can't accuse him of not keeping his promises. Yesterday he promised to update his app called Control Tester v0.5 and today he released v1.0

The New PSP Game Maker (Gamma release)The New PSP Game Maker (Gamma release)
The New PSP Game Maker (Gamma release)  It seems that there's an on-going friendly competition between two homebrew developers over at QJ Forums. A couple of days ago, Re_AnimAte released a fairly good version of the application known as The PSP Game Maker. In a nut shell, it is a working compiler and tester for Lua games made in C#
Test My ControlsTest My Controls
Test My Controls Constant use is grounds for wear and tear, and that's no exception even for the multi-capable Sony PlayStation Portable. Homebrew developer Johnny McKinney released a homebrew application to diagnose the PSP's controls. Test My Controls version 1.5 - perhaps a C++ rehash of Control Tester v1
Pixel AlarmPixel Alarm
Pixel Alarm  For many a PSP owner, nothing gets under their skin quite like the sight of a couple of dead pixels on their handheld's screen. With that said, we're happy to report that pspflashsystem has something you just might need. It's Pixel Alarm v0
LUA Button Tester and guideLUA Button Tester and guide
LUA Button Tester and guide The LUA Button Tester is a piece of homebrew that actually works two ways. First, it detects any button presses that you make on your PSP, allowing you to check if all of your PSP's buttons are in tip-top shape or if there's a problem with some of them. Second, it can be used as a guide for new LUA coders
BlackSPEEDBlackSPEED
Oy vey. It seems our read and write speeds are slowing down today, as we missed this new app mentioned on the Exophase forums by a couple of hours (or a lot... we never got the hang of checking timezones)

PressMe 0.0.3  from stifpsp: PressMe is my first homebrew coded in C. This verifies that the buttons on your PSP function properly if you are in doubt between the problem hardware or software on your PSP. Wink Example: The most experienced, you can 't leave your games HOME. When you turn on your PSP, it is in Recovery Mode alone, or you can not write in the OSK
Control TesterControl Tester
Control Tester Every homebrew app has a story behind it and for the Control Tester v.5 this is developer Johnny McKinney's tale: "I always go tired of going to play any of my games (mainly Syphon Filter) and noticing something was up with my controls
