Art from our forums has released a new version of his X-Flash homebrew flashing application for the PSP. X-flash is a firmware modification tool that flashes your PSP to accomplish a variety of changes to the PSP's system firmware, and so should only be used by those that know what they are doing. Negligent use of this application could result in the bricking of your PSP, so be careful.
This X-Flash version has a new debranded gameboot intro screen feature, so the PSP logo is not shown on the screen over your gameboot movie. Version 9h is a very small update which removes a false verify warning that occured in two function after
multiple uses in one session. Art has stated that this is to be the last installment of his X-flash program unless any new firmware hacks are found. You can do pretty much anything with your firmware on this version!
X-Flash is a specialist firmware modification tool which flashes the PSP, so use at your own risk! Although this program has been verified to be safe on all of Art's PSP units, if you do not know what you are doing there is still a chance of bricking your PSP. Always read the readme like a book!
