Puerto Rico DS Multiplayer Test Andreas Seyfarth has done a wonderful job with Puerto Rico, a popular German boardgame, that his game has already received a remarkable number of prizes all over the world - including the International Gamers Award for General plus Multiplayer Category.
Now, Puerto Rico, which lets players assume the roles of Puerto Rico colonial governors during the Caribbean ascandancy, has been ported by johanb123 to the Nintendo DS. The first release already had game mechanics fully implemented with dummy AI players serving as opponents. Upon the release, johanb123 promised to improve on these AI and implement a TCP/IP multiplayer mode - so a few days ago, he gave us an update saying that work on the latter has already started.
Today, another Puerto Rico DS update comes our way: the multiplayer test is now in our midst. If you like to see how the multiplayer part of the game is faring right now, feel free to give the download (provided below) a go.
