With a name like Thepixelatedpoo, we're not sure how seriously to take him. We are, however, seriously having some fun trying out his Puzzle Challenge homebrew game.
In Puzzle Challenge, your task is to fill your opponent's board with blocks before they fill up yours. Do that by matching blocks together, either horizontally and vertically. Make your opponent's life even tougher by destroying a more than 3 blocks in one sequence, and you can add blocks onto your opponent's side (the blue bar on the right).
Speaking of opponents, you can choose to face the AI in block battles or go on ad hoc for PvP puzzling. Our suggestion: practice with the computer, because he's tougher than you'd think.
According to the author, the game works on both 1.50 and 3.03 OE, so you should have no problems grabbing this piece of homebrew for an intellectual distraction. Still, you can ask him for some tips on the forum release thread, as well as report bugs and a wishlist for any possible updates. Props go to Thepixelatedpoo for the Tetris-y version of Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory" as a background, as well as an excellent game. We hope to see more of this in the future!
