PWMinder BlackBerry - PWMinder is a Password Manager application that is used to store all of your passwords and other sensitive data in a secure encrypted file. With PWMinder, you don't need to try and remember all of your various passwords, but rather create one very secure password, to be able access all of your other passwords in one place.
In addition to passwords, for each record, PWMinder can store account numbers, web links, emails, security questions and more, and it allows records to be categorized. PWMinder also lets you search for passwords records by name, login or description. PWMinder also contains a Password Generator to help you create secure passwords.
The passwords are stored in a file format, which is compatible with the Desktop Computer version of PWMinder, so you have access to all of your passwords both at home and on the road.
PWMinder uses Advance Encryption Standard (AES) which is the standard adopted by the U.S. Government.
Passwords are stored in Repository files. You can have as many Repositories as you want, e.g. one for home passwords, one for work passwords, one for each person in you family, etc.
In addition to storing a login and password, each record can also store an account number, url, email address, notes and more.
URLs can automatically be opened in a web browser.
Each password record can have an expiry date set for it, to remind you to change the password.
PWMinder contains a Password Generator tool to generator secure passwords. This tool is integrated directly into PWMinder.
Logins and Passwords can be easily copied to the clipboard so they can be pasted into other applications such as a web browser.
Ability to search for records by Name, Login or Description.
