Q.SMS is a program for Windows Mobile phone devices, who gives you many improvements in your daily SMS Messaging: new, rich interface to compose and send SMS message: the background image is your Today Screen's background in one screen you see Recipient name, message text, and time/calendar where you set when you want to send the message message text is displayed in larger, easier fonts (you define) Photo ID (from Contacts) is displayed in full scale, below or above text message most daily functions you manipulate only by keyboard (you save time! you don't have to take stylus out or touch the screen)
new useful functions (missed in Windows Mobile system):
replace SMS numbers with names from your Contacts list
display small thumbnail of Contact's photo (if available)
remember your last used number of Recipient (save 40% of your time)
open and pop up automatically, when you slide out the keyboard*)
and:
you can quick select the name from the popup list (no reason to open Contacts)
easy reply to the last Sender, with his/her original text previewed
send message at once, or in the future (you define the time and date)
set on/off the request of delivery report in convenient mode
additionally:
it can self-close when message has been sent successfully
it can turn the power off completely when message has been sent
Parts of Q.SMS interface:
Recipient number or names You write here the number, or can start to type here the name. Since 2 or more characters, the short list of Contacts match these characters will pop-up. You have two seconds to start move over this list, or you will back to write next character.
Message text You write here the text you want to send. You can set font size and color for your conveniences.
Send (left) button When Recipient number/name are available, press this button or menu on the screen will send the message. When you want to send the message in the future, you use the right part of the screen:
Time buttons Move hours or minutes up or down. [!] button moves back to "Send right now". You cannot set any past time.
Calendar preview Touch the day you want to set. You cannot set any previous date.
Month buttons Move month preview up or down. This does not change the date, until you touch any number of day.
Information of Recipient number When selected Recipient name or number was used previously, here is an information about the time of using.
Delivery report request You set the request of Delivery report in program's menu. For your convenience, you can touch this part of screen to enable/disable this function for this one particular message. Without using the menu.
Options (right) button You access the program's menu. Quick insert one of pre-defined My Text. Edit the text. Hide or Exit this interface.
Sending time information When you want to send this message at once (normal mode), here is "Send right now" displayed. When you set the time in the future, here is this time displayed. For the near upcoming time, this time is displayed in period of hours or minutes. For the longer time, next day(s), this is displayed in details of time/date format.

like: HTC Wizard, HTC Hermes, Qtek 9100, 9600, i-mate K-Jam, MDA Vario, PPC6700, W-ZERO3, and newest.
