ChordGuru is a chord finder for PocketPC. It has a number of advanced features not found in most chord finders - most are geared for guitar in standard tuning, and consist of nothing more than a library of someone else''s chords and an index.
By contrast, ChordGuru actually searches for chords based on a number of customizable criteria including number of strings (or courses), the tuning and the definition of the chord. If you''ve built a nine-string custom instrument tuned chromatically, and you play only bizarre atonal chords, ChordGuru can still help you out. And it looks good too!

Optional automatic finger assignment to chorded notes*
Chords are automatically sorted by estimated difficulty
Ability to fine-tune the rules used to filter out "bad" chords
Themes support, which includes colors, background and note images
Supports the use of the input panel for entering text
Comes with guitar in standard, drop-D and DADGAD tunings, and a selection of common chords predefined
Coming soon: Practice mode, where you can pick a series of chords to be played back in order
*In some cases the application may not choose the best fingering, so you can turn this feature off if you don''t want it.
Note: This version is for ARM processors. ChordGuru requires the .NET Compact Framework, which can be downloaded for free from Microsoft.
