flexkboard is a free open source Qwerty Pocket PC keyboard, currently undergoing Beta testing.
It supports landscape capable devices, and full screen mode (but not vga mode)
It was initially designed for pocketpc''s phones with reduced size screens. The standard keyboards that ship with Flexkboard use a special space saving layout that maximizes the size of the most used keys.
A unique drop down spacebar can be used to conserve screen space. This is activated by sliding upwards off the space key.
When in landscape mode, there are two full screen keyboards. One display has keys of a similar size to commercial full screen boards. The other folds the ''p'' key to further increase the key width. (Note you have to slide down off the space key to get a return character).
A keyboard layout language can be used to replace characters on any of the shipped keyboards. New keyboard layouts can also be created.
Keyboards shipped with Flexkboard are supplied in editable text files.
