Version 1.2.2 adds abbreviations. Your schedule looks even better, allowing you to abbreviate course names without affecting the other pages.
Pocket Lectures allows students and teachers to keep track of their lectures, courses and associate tasks with each course. All information is stored in databases, which may at the user's choice reside in XML files to allow exchange of information between PocketPC devices, desktop computers and to download information off the web.
Databases allow flexible centralized management
The data can be divided in several data storage units, called databases. A database can be a system database as well as an XML file in your My Documents folder. Data can be moved between databases and you can load any database at any time, giving you the option to have separate configurations on the same device.
Optimized display performance
Thanks to a more efficient drawing technique, Pocket Lectures will now operate efficiently in different screen orientations and unlike previous versions, the landscape modes are available to all devices.
ClearType improves readability of small font sizes on the systems that support it.
Web-enabled
If the courses have homepages, you can store them along with other course information for tap-and-hold access to it.
With version 1.2, you can also download XML files directly off a web or FTP server for direct display on your PocketPC. Using a mobile phone, a sync cable or an Ethernet card you can now download or update your schedule or course information from a centralized server.
