GetIt FTP for Microsoft Pocket PC is a new FTP client that makes exchanging files over the Internet secure, reliable and easy. The software includes advanced file management and user interface features that lets you focus on transferring files.
DESIGNED FOR YOUR POCKET PC
GetIt FTP features navigation tools designed for mobile devices like the Microsoft Tablet PC, where a stylus or touchpad is used instead of a keyboard and mouse. For example, you can select multiple files and folders with a single click (or tap) and view file information in a 'summary' format. The software also includes smart transfer modes that reduce the amount of user guidance. In addition, you can run GetIt FTP in the "background" so you can perform other tasks while transferring files!
SECURITY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME
When combined with a secure FTP server (like ShareIt FTP Pro), GetIt FTP can protect your sensitive data and login information. It includes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption/decryption which is the same technology used in e-commerce websites to process credit cards.
BUILT-IN FILE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS
GetIt FTP uses a familiar and powerful File Explorer interface that lets you manage local and remote files. The software gives you the ability to create new folders, delete, rename and change file permissions. In addition, you can send custom commands to the FTP server to collect session information or use extended features.
SMART FILE TRANSFERS
GetIt FTP can send and receive files and folders (recursively) with a few simple taps. The software also includes error recovery and mirroring capabilities that enable you to resume broken file transfers and synchronize data at regular intervals. These features save you time and money.
TIME SAVING FEATURES
You can configure GetIt FTP to automatically dial, hang-up and use common FTP settings (like passive and overwrite modes) to help you work more efficiently. The software also includes an address book (for registered users) to manage FTP site login information.
FIREWALL AND FTP PROXY FRIENDLY
Firewalls restrict access to your network and impose many restrictions on the web services behind them. GetIt FTP lets you configure the protocol and TCP/IP operation, including bandwidth throttle, of your FTP client.
PERFECT FOR DEVELOPERS
The registered version of GetIt FTP lets you configure and run FTP operations from the command line, so you can integrate and deploy your Internet applications faster!
