Zipit is a utility to open, extract, create and edit (add and delete entries) zip-files. ZipIt can also open and extract archives created by gzip, bzip2 and/or tar. The combinations of these are also supported, e.g. gzipped or bzipped tar-files.
ZipIt has an easy to understand user interface much similar to the one used in the commonly known and widely used WinZip.
When used on zip-files, file entries can be deleted and you can also add files, either one by one or by adding all files in a certain directory at once. You can extract all files from the archive or all files at once, keeping the original directory structure or not, depending on your choises while extracting.
