Illuminate for Smartphone - Most smartphone programs don’t have implemented function to keep backlight of the device ON while active. Even if they do,
it’s often tedious to go through the menu every time in order to activate/deactivate it. Illuminate SP solves that problem by keeping backlight ON as long as selected program is running.
Furthermore it allows user to quickly exit running program (End Call key) to restore default backlight mode, therefore bypassing inefficient Microsoft autoclose model. Notification icon is another useful function of illuminateSP. It's shown as a white exclamation sign on the smartphone "taskbar" to indicate that illuminateSP is active in the background.

USING THE PROGRAM
The program consists of two parts. One is the active/runtime part and the second part is a configuration utility that makes necessary changes to integrate runtime into the system. After installation a shortcut to configuration utility is found in start menu (the dark red exclamation icon). A configuration utility allows you to select program/s you wish to be "illuminated" and also provides possibility of setting runtime behavior options.
CONFIGURATION
Configuration utility is rather straightforward. At the main screen user is presented with a list of valid applications installed on the device. The list which is created by enumerating shortcuts found in start menu allows user to select the desired program. By pressing the "Create" menu option, an illuminate enabled shortcut is created in start menu. The illuminate shortcut is easily distinguished from original by its gray exclamation icon and a "!" suffix.
The taskbar notification icon and quick close can be disabled optionally, but its recommended to keep these turned on for easier use.
Cleanup function provides a quick way of undoing changes done by configuration utility; by removing all illuminate enabled shortcuts from system. It's recommended to do this before performing a uninstalation of illuminateSP, in order to cleanup start menu.
DEMO VERSION
The limitation of a demo application is a time limit of 60 seconds. After one minute illuminate runtime component closes target program and quits itself after restoring backlight settings (the action that is usually called by pressing End Call key). Also, the runtime settings cannot be saved.
