SlitherLink Is it Sudoku? Is it MineSweeper? No! It''s SlitherLink!
SlitherLink is a game that is a little bit like Mine Sweeper and a little bit like Sudoku. Now you can enjoy this game on your PocketPC anytime and anywhere.
The board consists of a number of cells. Each cell is surrounded by four dots. In some of the cells there is a number; this number indicates how many lines you must surround the cell with. You add lines by connecting two adjacent dots at the time (e.g. you can connect the upper left dot with the upper right dot which makes the cell surrounded by one line, etc.) so that in the end all lines forms a single loop without any branches or crossings.
To add or remove a line, simply select a cell by tapping the cell you want to edit and then use one (or more) of the four ''line buttons'' to add or remove lines. Next, select another cell to add lines to or remove lines from. When all the rules (summarized below) are obeyed you will be notified of you success, perhaps you''ll even make it to the highscore table.
The rules summarized:
Connect adjacent dots with vertical and/or horizontal lines.
A single loop of lines is to be formed, without crossings or branches.
A number in a cell indicates how many lines that must surround the cell, while empty cells may be surrounded by any number of lines.
Once you have placed lines on the board so that the two latter rules are obeyed you have solved the puzzle.
Sounds simple? Be warned, it gets hard and it is very addictive.
