If you have a problem with unreadable contacts' names displaying in your Bluetooth Handsfree equipped car, try this plugin. It will automatically transliterate (phonetically) Cyrillic, Greek, and (not well tested) Hebrew names with Latin characters. In addition you can filter the contacts to be synchronized by categories, so you don't have to scroll through hundreds of contacts you never call from your car (you can use this for just that reason of filtering contacts, even if you don't have contacts with characters other than Latin)
