nPOPw - nPOPw is an excellent tool which will allow you to manage your mailboxes when on the move. Only the beginning of each message (along with the subject, size, date, and author) is downloaded, you can then choose to delete it, download the whole message, save attachments, reply, and forward (all the functions of a standard email client). You can also send new emails (using the SMTP protocol) and setup filters (to ignore a mailing list for example). All of this can be done while offline and there are a lot of options to customize it to your needs.
nPOPw has some important new features, for which everybody has been waiting for for a long time:
- most important new feature: it uses the contacts from Pocket Outlook, whereas nPOP had used its own contact list.
- you can launch PIE to read your HTML mails
- some smaller things, like the display of the recipients and the priority
- a better user interface, especially when saving the options.
