VIN Decoder for PocketPC - The program provides instant Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) decoding of Model Year, Country, Manufacturer and Make for cars sold in North America after 1981. It provides also the VIN Security Code check. It allows to save VIN numbers as tab delimited text files, which can be transfered in Excel on a destop PC for further inquiries. The trial version has the Model Year decoding and security code check disabled, as well as the save capability. New versions of the CE database file will become eventually available, with extended car models and trim decoding capabilities.
