Password Import Wizard - Existing users of DreameeSoft's Password Master v1.x can now upgrade to Password Master v2.0 for free.
Use Password Import Wizard free plug-in to copy your password from the older version to the latest version of the software.
Existing users of Password Master, please follow the below steps for Password Import.
Re-download your copy of Password Master v2.0. This is a free upgrade.
Install the Password Master v2.0 over the existing version of the software in your Pocket PC.
Install the Password Import Wizard in your Pocket PC.
Run Password Import Wizard in your Pocket PC from the Start Menu.
In the main screen, tap on the "Import" button to move passwords from Password Master v1.x to v2.0.
Wait for a brief amount of time (depending on the number of passwords you had in your previous version).
A message box comes up showing the results of the Password Import.
When you run the Password Master v2.0, users can see that the Passwords from v1.x are added under a category "Passwords from v1.x".
Users can move this password to the desired category by a simple drag & drop.
Drag and Drop:
The password entries added to one category can be moved to another category by simple drag & drop operation.
Improved Security:
Since all the details you enter are sensitive data, the Password Master helps you to create a Secure Login to the records. You can create a Master Password, which will work as you Master key for all the virtual locks you know. The Master Password is encrypted using 128 bit key for high security.
The User Name and Password are also encrypted using 128 bit key before getting stored in the database.
Icon & Text colour customizations:
The Icons and the text colour of the items in the tree view can be modified to suit the interface you prefer to work. A custom colour picker has been designed for ease of use.
Back up:
The Password Master database can be moved to your Desktop and can be copied back to your PDA for data restore. This helps you to restore your passwords after you hard reset your Pocket PC.
