Pocket FtCalc (full install with .NET compact framework) functions as a standard calculator and also calculates linear, square, and cubic foot inch measurements. Measurements and fractions are entered just as you would write them on paper, no special keys or complex rules.
Six separate memories are arranged in tabs along the bottom of the screen. Operations can be performed from the calculator to memory, from memory to memory, and even from tape to memory. Of course, values can also be recalled from memory for use in the calculator.
The calculator and each of the memories has it's own individual tape. Tapes can be expanded for easier viewing and can even be saved to disk and reloaded for later use.
Pocket FtCalc includes general purpose tools for calculating arcs, circles/cylinders, and right triangles. Construction specific tools include a baluster spacing tool, stair calculator, and a flooring calculator that draws and calculates the area of irregularly shaped regions.
