Information is power. And with the .NET Compact Framework we can have all the information we want. Windows Mobile has many ways to get details about the device our application is running on. Hands down my favorite is the State and Notification Broker. In a word it ROCKS! You can use it to find out any number of things and you can use it to notify us when information we care about change state.

MSCEInf MSCEInf - MSCEInf is a utility to find and analyze all the data contained in installation CAB files.
The program automatically extracts the file "000" from CAB files or selected TSK and analyzes it. It can also analyze already extracted files "000". A full report is posted in page control
Swfht Swfht - Swfht is a utility which can create the .HTM file that Pocket Internet Explorer needs to play a Flash file.
It's all in Japanese but the screen display is simple enough to understand the concept. You can readily see that the SWF file must be found and that the selected resolution must be determined
