It fills the entire screen with one of 8 colours of your choice. Selected by using the up/down motions of the directional navigation pad. Default is White (like most flashlights), but it can be Grey, Blue, Red, etc. if the situation requires. Its small, simple, yet effective
Screen Off Screen Off - This application simply turns off the screen on the device, without putting it to sleep. Can be useful to save battery life when connecting the device to the PC or when running an application that doesn't need the display (like an audio player).
Tested on HTC Touch HD with WM 6.1 and 6.5.3.

DiscoLight DiscoLight - DiscoLight displays disco-like lights on the screen of your Pocket PC.
DiscoLights requires that you have both the 'BeanDLL.dll' file ** and ** the runtime files for Visual Basic on your PocketPC computer. Simply unzip the file for your processor and place the DLL file in the 'Windows' folder of your PocketPC computer
AutoLight AutoLight - HTC Topaz (Diamond 2) auto adjust backlight function is a good idea with a not very good implementation. It must be said to HTC excuse that the light sensor is very noisy, especially at low light conditions.
Some alternatives do exist but are not very good or are Compact Framework application (not a very good idea for background application)
PowerOptions PowerOptions is a software for HTC devices that allows you to easily soft reset, shut down, turn off backlight and put the device into standby mode.
