SMSImport-This is a program to backup and restore SMS messages on a Windows Mobile (5.0) device. Messages are stored in a pretty self-explanatory XML file, so it should be easily possible to create one to import messages from your old device.

Copy the provided executable to your device and start it. Update Description:
