DSSHold Holding/Landing Pattern Computer for Pocket PC - Welcome to DSSHold for Pocket PC! Using DSSHold, you will be able to visualize any holding pattern or landing pattern, including your entry into the pattern.
DSSHold is actually two products in one:
a holding pattern computer for IFR holding patterns, and
a landing pattern computer for IFR or VFR flights.
Many flight maneuvers require good visualization to perform them correctly, and holding and landing patterns are especially important in this regard. Each pattern requires you to not only know the turns and headings of the pattern itself, but also how to properly enter the pattern given your aircraft's course. DSSHold will gather the required inputs and draw both the pattern and your course line, as well as wind direction, so you will have a good mental picture of the pattern you must enter and fly.
