ColorPicker - An amusing freeware that will let you personalize every one of your screens, without exception, by modifying the color of the components you want (title bar, menu backgrounds, etc...), like the Appearance tab of Windows Display Properties.
Also there are schemes available. In short, everything you need to see life through ... rose-tinted lenses. Since it all takes place in the Registry, you need to do a Reset to see your changes.
The ergonomics of the program are average, but this software is already fully utilizable. You can enter your parameters either by RGB values or by means of a superb rainbow (the screenshot you see alongside doesn't do it justice since it's in 256 colors). Watch out, though: a few bugs still get in the way.

BlackMe BlackMe is a tool that turns the screen off while you don't need it.
You can use it while logging gps data (for example with WMMiniGPS), when you connect your device to the desktop to sync/recharge it, when you're listening to music with an mp3 player, etc...The best method to use this program is to associate a button to it (through Settings->Buttons)
Zevele's Blinker Zevele's Blinker - This application blinks the device LED every few seconds. The idea is to have some notification that the device is still alive.
· Blink the LED every few seconds. If the battery level is below the threshold, orange led is blinking otherwise the green on is used
