R-TYPE for Android - R-TYPE is a remake of the classic side-scrolling arcade shooter released in the 80s, now available for Android smartphones and tablets. The game features the same retro-style graphics and action-packed gameplay that made the original famous and adds touchscreen-optimized controls and support for external controllers.
The objective of R-TYPE is to defeat the evil Bydo Empire by blasting enemies to pieces across eight different stages with end-level bosses. You have a wide range of weapons at your disposal for accomplishing the task, as well as a variety of power-ups and ship attachments.
