FishLoader - Directly load code modules (COD files) and create direct-install (JAD) and desktop-install (ALX) package files.
You can use the FishLoader utility to:
- create bundles of apps* that can be re-installed in a single step without using a computer,
- re-install archived apps where the .jad and .alx are missing,
- directly install (without using a computer) an app package that only has a desktop-install (.alx) file,
- install loose .cod files without having to create an install package,
- replace damaged or missing app modules, without risking accidentally overwriting other data.
If you are knowledgeable enough, you can also use the optional "OS" version of FishLoader to:
- replace damaged or missing OS, RIM app, or carrier modules, without risking accidentally overwriting other data,
- patch the OS
- install a hybrid OS (may take longer than when using a computer)
The "OS" version is available as a separate product, "FishLoader OS".
* Please note that FishLoader is not an app "ripper", i.e. it will not copy apps off your phone. It requires that you already have the modules (.cod files) to be installed.
