smartSignalTest is a software that checks if your smartphone is currently logged in to a network and if signal strength is sufficient. In case of insufficient signal strength, an alarm message will be shown on the display and an alarm tone will be generated to inform the user about the unavailable network signal at his
current location. The alarm automatically stops as soon as the phone enters network coverage again.
Possible field of application:
· Employed field staff shall be able to be contacted on their mobile phone, but the device is not ready-to-receive, so they will be informed about the situation and can change the location.
· smartSignalTest may be evaluated for a total of 60 days for free. Evaluation phase 1 consists of the first 30 days while days 31 to 60 add some limitations. To use smartSignalTest after the evaluation period is over a license needs to be obtained. smartSignalTest displays an evaluation info message box every time it is started. As soon as evaluation phase 2 (days 31 to 60) is reached smartSignalTest shuts itself down after 120 minutes without further notice.
