VLCTelecontrol is a small, free application for Nokia smartphones (Symbian S60).
It lets you use your smartphone as a remote control for VideoLAN Client.
There are better applications for a fee, but this is intended to be as simple as possible and in fact it only allows you to start and pause playback of movies.
The solution is totally free: VideoLAN Client and VLCTelecontrol are free; the connection, is free if you use the Wireless LAN (WiFi).
