It contains more than 9000 stars from Bright Star Catalog, full NGC/IC catalogs of deep sky objects, and downloadable catalogs of asteroids, comets and radiants of meteor showers.
AcruSky can predict oncoming astronomical phenomena and will remind you about them, so you will never miss interesting events on the sky like solar and lunar eclipses, conjunctions and oppositions of planets, moon phases and etc.
