Stocklist is a large dictionnary of more then 2000 security shares, it gives you the code and the market extension, the telekurs, the name, the currency.
It is given as a GPL licence, then it's freeware.
If you are a broker or working in financial investment company or a simple investor, you will find it usefull to have this database in your hand.
If you want to manage your portfolio (security shares or bonds with average price, market value, interest, redemptions,... statment computations), unsettle, retail account tracking.
If you have Reuters on your compuer, you will be able to use the OpenCotation module (small program running on your computer and link your Reuter workstation to Fortune 1.00) that will give onTime market price on your portfolio statment in your palm.
