Strong's Hebrew Dictionary is a Dictionary of Hebrew words indexed by Strong's numbers. There are 8674 Hebrew words in the dictionary. Dr James Strong directed a team in the construction of an exhaustive concordance of every word in the King James Version of the Bible. The concordance is a cross-reference of each word back to the word in the original text. Strong's team assigned each word a number, now known as a Strong's number. Using the String's number one can find the word in the KJV then cross-reference to the word in the Hebrew Dictionary.
