Caller Identity for Symbian - Finally, real Caller Identity Information for your handy! If you're thinking, "I already have Caller Identity on my handy," you're only partially correct. Think about this: your handy only displays the number of the person calling, so the only time you see a name or other identifying information appear with the number is when the contact is saved in your contact list. How do you know if the random number is a telemarketer, the guy from Friday night or maybe the company you interviewed with letting you know you got the job? Does it change the way you answer your handy? Do you answer at all? Privus Mobile shows you Caller Information when they are NOT in your contact list.
Privus Mobile delivers names or other identifying information after call completion when there is a disruption in the data connection during a voice call or you have a poor data connection. Always leave your device turned on with Privus Mobile software running to receive caller names for missed calls.
Privus Mobile delivers names or other identifying information during ringing with an active data connection and strong 3G networks; or with an active WiFi connection.
Determine your network status to see how Privus Mobile will deliver caller names or information for each call. When you receive Caller Information during ringing and you DO NOT have a slider nor a flip phone, it is necessary to PRESS THE ANSWER KEY TWICE to connect. The first push acknowledges the caller information and the second push accepts the call. If you have a slider or a flip phone, just ANSWER NORMALLY to accept the call.
