SmartNav (Nokia 92**) is a simple and practical navigation aid for pilots. It's used to prepare and print navigation logs before a flight and to assist in navigation while you're on the flightdeck It is not intended to compete with the "heavyweight" Flight Planning programs that are available for desktop PC's, but rather as a handy, functional, portable and practical program that will facilitate the creation of flight plans anywhere and anytime. Right from it's conception SmartNav was designed for ease of use and friendliness as a key element. The program can be used to prepare navigation flight logs before a flight, and to assist in navigation and solving problems during flight. The creation of a flight plan is quick and all new waypoints, NDB's and VOR's are saved to a database for easy retrieval for future flights. Standard Flight Plans can be saved, retrieved later and amended.
