SilkScreen (German) - SilkScreen is a utility providing an application launcher available from any application, virtual Graffiti to enable writing on the display itself, secondary application launching and more through hard keys, and launching of DAs. It does this in a unique manner by reserving small programmable tap areas at the corners and sides of the display screen and thus is immensely useful for devices with either collapsable Graffiti areas like the Tungsten series and devices without such an area like the Treo 600 or Treo 650.
The name SilkScreen stems from the application's capability to fully perform any action that is associated with the so-called Graffiti area of older devices in just the display area. This new release uses assignable actions that can be triggered from either the tap areas and/or any existing hard keys. SilkScreen's ingeneous interface allows for easy configuation of a handheld device to increase usability by large margins. It dramatically reduces the need to operate the slider on Tungsten devices, enables a Treo 600 or treo 650 in a very new way, and breathes new air into a Sony.
