Calendar Plus supports both Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003 (Pocket PC 2003) and was tested by SBSH.net on both operating systems.
The new Calendar Plus introduces a tab concept, including three major functions: Calendar view, Tasks view and Special Events view (such as birthdays and anniversaries). With the new Calendar Plus you will never miss an appointment, forget a task or forget to call a friend on his birthday.
Here are some of the features of Calendar Plus 6.0:
+ Use tab buttons to easily switch between calendar, tasks and birthdays/anniversaries
+ Optionally use large tab icons or small tab icons
+ Auto scans your calendar database, tasks database and contacts database
+ Tasks tab sort by due date, importance, complete status, sensitivity and subject
+ Sort all tabs by categories
+ Optionally view due tasks on the calendar tab
+ Supports Cleartype text mode
+ Compatibility with Pocket Informant
+ Optionally display daily appointments counter beside day title
+ Choose the number of days to display in the calendar: starting with 1 day and up to 30 days!
+ Tabs Tasks and Special Event (birthdays/anniversaries) are marked with special sign in case there are events due for today.
+ Optionally skip days without appointments
+ Optionally use special tap-menus or open actual item directly when clicked
+ With special tap-menus: access the Calendar, Tasks and Contacts, open current appointment / task / contacts, and delete current appointment / task
+ Move through the tab's summary with special scroll buttons
+ Set the height of Calendar Plus to prevent the whole today screen from scrolling
+ Supports multi-day and all-day events
+ Tasks and birthdays due for today are marked in bold
+ Overdue tasks are marked in red and bold
+ Displays icons: 'reminder' and 'private' icon for appointments and 'priority' and 'private' for tasks
+ Optionally displays the location of appointments
+ User can change the text size
+ Text color adapts automatically to the Today skin
+ Supports both 12 and 24 hours format
Upgrades
We always provide free upgrades for our software through sub-point upgrades. This means that version 5.1 will be a free upgrade from 5.0 all the way to a hypothetical 5.99.
Major version upgrades such as 5.x to 6.x incur a price of about 40% of the retail price - using special coupons via Handango.
We also provide free upgrades from one major point release to the next if you have purchased within the last 1 month of release.
