Hangouts for Android - Hangouts is a cross-platform instant messenger that allows you to keep in touch with friends via one-to-one conversations, group chats and video calls.
With Hangouts you can spice up conversations with emoji and photos, see wen your buddies have read your messages and when they are typing back, send messages to friends even if they are offline, continue conversations across devices, access all your chat history, etc.

· Simplified contact list: now there's two main sections in contacts - People you Hangout With, and Phone Contacts - making it simpler to navigate, and easier to use for SMS.
