Camera Trigger (Motion Detect) - Camera Shutter Trigger by Motion Detection (and Time Lapse)
Camera Trigger is a simple motion detection (and time lapse) application. Device camera shutter will be triggered by objects movement on the selected screen area where user can change the area position and size of it.
Additionally, there is Time Lapse mode is available.
Application may be useful for the certain purposes.
Self portrait photo taking.
Use as self-timer function.
Monitoring some place continuously.
Creating fun animated photo albums.
Camera Settings:
Auto focus: enable or disable camera auto focus function when taking photos.
Output image size: the saved image size is dependent on the devices, user can choose one of the size between large or small figured photo sizes.Note: Camera setting would not be applied when Screen Capture option is selected. When continuous detection option is selected, recommend to disable auto focus and select small image size options for fast processing.
Photo Source Option:
Camera photo option: with this option, user could have better quality photo images than the other option Screen Capture. However, this option will take more time to processing detected images. Therefore, when using continuous detection option, the quantity of the images count will be less. This option is good for the Single Detection option.
Screen Capture option: output image size is same as the size of the device screen resolution. This option is good for the Continuous Detect Option. It is fast and responsive for the objects motion movement.
Trigger Timer:
Motion detector trigger timer function is as same as the common camera self-timer.
There are three timer options; 1, 5, and 10 seconds detection delay. It can be useful when taking self-portrait photos, family or friends group photos. When the start button is released, the loud beep will be sounded for the selected delay time.
After delay time finishes, the motion detection will be started. And waiting for the motion movement, and the application would not take any photos until it gets detection.
Detection Sensitivity:
User could decide a motion detection sensitivity among the High, Medium, or Low options.
The sensitivity of the detection is varied by surrounding light conditions. So, recommend to test and choose the best option for the given areas. To test, try to change detection area positions and the size of the detector to get the best results.
Detection Area Setting:
Detection area position and the its size could be easily changed by the drag and move. The size of the area could be changed when touch and drag the red colored right bottom arrow mark.
With this practice, user may take advantages against vary rapid light condition changing environments. The area size could be as large as device screen size. For the continuous detection option, it is better to choose small area to detect for fast photo processing. Large area selection would be good choice when user took Single Detection option.
Start Detection:
Single detection: when this option is selected, the detector will take a single motion movement detection. After detection, it saves photo on the storage and finishes the processing.
Continuous non-stop detection option will be last until user intervene to stop the processing. This option might be the best choice when monitoring some places or objects for the time being.
The motion detected photos are saved on the SD Card. The single detection option's photos are saved under the date formated folders bellow the application folder. And the continuously taken photos are saved under the application RECORD folder.
Slide Show Player:
Slide show player is included in the application. With player, the continuously taken photos could be played as animated time-lapsed format.
Only the RECORD folders are available for the player.
